4 simple steps

Four Simple Steps to Becoming a Billionaire

by Johnny Debacle
From Carter’s Adventure, here is a list of three habits of billionaires:
  1. Exercise daily.
  2. Follow your passion.
  3. Read. A lot. At least two hours a day, but many said they read four or more hours a day.
This type of advice always makes us reflect back on the McSweeney’s piece, 7 Habits of Highly Successful People:
  1. Skiing
  2. Yachting
  3. Snorkeling
  4. Golf
  5. Polo
  6. Dinner parties
  7. Shopping
In our professional opinion, the best way to become obscenely wealthy is still the old fashioned way in 4 simple steps.
Western World Version
  1. Take outrageous risks with extremely high upside.
  2. Be the 1 out of 500 million for whom it pans out. This one is key so focus on it.
  3. Attribute your wealth creation to your own hard work, your own genius and the power of your business plan. Be sure to stress how your wealth was singularly made possible by your unique endowment of elbow grease, street smarts, common sense, all of which your competitors obviously lacked (proven by how poor they are compared to you).
  4. Buy a mega yacht and/or athletic team.
Russian World Version*
  1. Acquire assets illegally either from or with the help of the state. Extra rubles for seizing commodity related assets
  2. Kill all your rivals.
  3. Buy a mega yacht and/or athletic team.

I WILL be a BILLIONAIRE

Step 1: Billionaires are Confident

Billionaires are confident people who know they can have whatever they want by focusing on it and taking deliberate action. They are visionary thinkers. Billionaires see opportunity where the average person only sees obstacles. They take calculated risk after doing research and planning. Billionaires approach potential business opportunities and ask " How much will I make?", while the average person ask "How much will this cost me?".
Start developing your Billionaire mindset today and your guaranteed to have a richer tomorrow. Reading Napoleon Hill's legendary classic, "Think and Grow Rich", is a great place to start.

Step 2: Billionaires Practice Money Management

Billionaires may have tons of money, but that does not mean they throw money away. If you want get rich you must keep track of your bottom line, even if it's just a few dollars. Start tracking your monthly spending and eliminate any unnecessary items. Avoid using high interest credit cards as much as possible. Billionaires love getting more for less, and so should you. Bargain shopping is trendy these days, so don't be ashamed to buy your designer jeans at a discount store. Also, plan ahead for major purchases to make sure your getting the best price.
'

Step 3: Billionaires are Generous
One of the biggest secrets of the rich is generosity. The super rich know that if they serve more people they will increase their wealth. Start looking for ways to serve more people by solving their problems. If you want to grow rich you must become a generous person and seek out opportunities to solve millions of peoples common everyday obstacles. Problems are everywhere, pick one you know a lot about, solve it and get rich.

Step 4: Billionaires Buy Lots of Assets

Billionaires love to buy assets. They fill their expensive homes and office buildings with items that will appreciate in value overtime, not decrease. They also invest in businesses and real estate. They crave multiple streams of passive income and you must do the same. If your strapped for cash and investing in a traditional business is not realistic today, then join a good network marketing company or start a home based business. Many of today's super rich got started by building a business out of their homes part-time. It's fine to start small, just do something everyday to build your portfolio of cash flow assets.

Step 5: Billionaires are Disciplined and Patient

Billionaires understand that the key to great wealth is in long-term results. They are not interested in short-term instant gratification. Billionaires build businesses to last for generations to come. If your looking for "get rich quick" gimmicks to make money you are setting yourself up for failure. Whether you start a business from scratch or leverage others ideas through an affiliate marketing program, you must think long-term growth and success. Spend some time organizing your marketing plan and set smaller goals in the beginning. After a year or more, those small achievements will turn into big future profits.

Step 6: Billionaires Associate with Winners

Billionaires do not hang out with broke people. They are always seeking out advice and guidance from other successful people. If your goal is to become super rich you must upgrade your network to include people who already have what you want. Look for mentors who will show you the ropes and open doors of opportunity for you. And whatever you do, never tell your not so successful associates about your Billionaire dreams. Unfortunately, you may find that they are not as happy about your ambitions as you are.
In the information age the rules of money have changed dramatically. The old days of getting a good job, a 401K plan, and living frugally do not guarantee financial freedom anymore. Today you must become a visionary person and open your mind to new ideas and possibilities.

SO cute

ichele Tabor of The Decorating Divas created this adorable girls rock lounge with shades of pink, black, white, & a touch of silver. Aren't you loving the zebra print, guitar print, and all the girly things? Michele's daughter calls it her "lounge".

1. What gave you the idea for the room? Anything special that inspired you?

Girls Rock was the idea & theme for this room. I found some guitar wall art and went from there!

2. What is the wall paint color? Any do-it-yourself projects?
The wall color is Porter Paints Muted Fuchsia, and the leopard spots are Tutti Frutti. I made the
dressing table/vanity in her "dressing room" from an old desk she had as toddler and covered it in
pink satin and silver lame and trimmed with feather boa!

3. Please share any bedding, art, furniture finds? What's your favorite purchase? Is there something you had to have?   Any interesting facts our readers would want to know?

I did 3 rooms for my daughter, bedroom, bath and playroom, so I was on a budget and paint and
carpet took up a lot of that. So I got 2 $30 bookshelves & 1 $40 TV Stand from Walmart and
made an entertainment unit. I found the futon & a lamp at Target. Accessories from everywhere
like Kirklands, Hobby Lobby, etc. I found the chandelier on ebay for $25, it was brass & I had
it painted with zebra  polka dots!! The Leopard spots idea on the wall came to me at 3am! I didn't sleep much during this project, but the leopard spots are probably my favorite part of the room!!

Too fun!!

OPTIONS :D

We have options when going down this path of disappointment, but which one is really the right path to take?
Which ones have we taken before, and how did that work out for us?
Option 1.) Allow the fear, anger, and disappointment to rage.  The rage will touch every aspect of your life.  It will affect every job, every plan you ever had, and even every dream.
Option 2.) Keep trying Harder.  You can turn yourself inside out, upside down, or right side out trying to make things happen.  You can keep throwing yourself at your problems, wear yourself slam out trying to yank on the puppet strings of your life.  The truth is, you can pull and tug, tug and pull, tug and pull harder and still have your dreams dissolve right before your eyes.
Option 3.) You can get to the place in life where you can say, “Not my will, but your will. I’m not in control at all God. You are, and Only You.”
During these times, we sometimes have NO WORDS to pray.
Remember Romans 8:25 – 26 “if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weakness.  For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (NKJV)
I know as children we are all taught to NEVER say “I can’t” ,but sometimes the very act of saying “I can’t”  we began to heal.  We finally start to relinquish control, and in the process we give God permission to work in our lives.  That’s the real beauty of a surrender.
“Let it Be”
In the Gospel of Luke, an angel brings a message to Mary.  The angel reveals amazing, unbelievable, and probably terrifying news to a young girl from the town of Nazareth.
Mary was probably filled with a million questions. But in response to the angel’s news: “Behold the maid servant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38 NKJV).
Mary says, “Let it be.” Those words usher her into a season of wonder.  With just those 3 simple words, she lets go of her plan, her way, her dreams, her expectations, and her will… Making way for God to open a channel to change the world which is just the beginning.
“Let it Be” and see what God can do when you give Him room to work.
Will you let God work and “Let it Be”?

Sticky sticker trick

I'm so glad I figured this
out before more frustration came. . .
I know companies have to put bar code stickers where is it convenient for them
but it is soinconvenient for the customer.

Usually I have to run it under hot water and then use Goo Gone to get it off. And even then it still leaves a somewhat sticky residue.
So this time I tried my blowdryer (craft heat gun would work as well) while I slowly pulled the barcode sticker off-

WOW it worked.

GREAT MOVIE Facebooks own, "social network" LOVE IT

Bob (Mark Saul): "You know, I could swear he was looking at you when he said the next Bill Gates could be right in this room."
Mark Zuckerberg: "I doubt it."
Bob: "I showed up late. I don't even know who he was."
Mark Zuckerberg: "It was Bill Gates."
Bob: "Oh shit that makes sense."

Lawyer: "Mr. Zuckerberg, do I have your full attention?"Mark Zuckerberg: "No."Lawyer: "Do you think I deserve it?"Mark Zuckerberg: "What?"Lawyer: "Do you think I deserve your full   attention?"Mark: "I had to swear an oath before we began this deposition, and I don't want to perjure myself, so I have a legal  obligation to say no."Lawyer: "Okay...no. You don't think I deserve your attention."Mark Zuckerberg: "I think if your clients want to sit on my shoulders and call themselves tall, they have the right to give it a try, but there's no requirement that I enjoy sitting here listening to people lie. You have part of my attention - you have the minimum amount. The rest of my attention is back at the offices of Facebook, where my colleagues and I are doing things that no one in this room, including and especially your clients, are intellectually or creatively capable of doing. Did I adequately answer your condescending question?

EXPANSIONS

I’m sure several of you have wondered why I have changed things up, sat back and prioritized and now expanding with another blog, and now website, with another expansion of my etsy shop launching later this week!
I am expanding for several reasons, but one of the main reasons for expansion is I want to write about something that I am passionate about.  Cutting hair  is something I am very passionate about ,and it makes me who I am.  I’m also changing things up due to being out of work going on almost a YEAR.  Since I am passionate about hair why not expand.  I’ve expanded due to my belief that great design should be available to anyone and everyone regardless of their budget constraints.
I will still be blogging on this personal blog.  This blog has been my baby from day one where I love to share about my personal life, my struggles,  experiences, and the adventures that I am taking.  This meaning that I may not blog every-day, but I’ll still be here.  I’ve decided to pour my heart and soul into this new adventure that awaits me, and I hope you will support me in all these expansions.
Thanks again for being such wonderful readers.

AS most of you KNOW :D

As most of you know I graduated from high school in 2007 and I believed deeply that after I graduated that I would have to work really hard to find a job.  However, in the end I thought I would find one.  I’m not giving up this thought.
It’s an opportunity that I never thought would occur, but none the less the opportunity has risen.  The opportunity is a chance to go back to school and get my cosmology licence   I know most of you are thinking, shouldn't you have done that back in 2009?.  Maybe so – Maybe not.
Yes, I’m still very passionate about Cutting hair, and it also holds a special place in my heart.  However, I do believe God has given me this time off for a reason.  A reason I’m not really understanding at this point, but taking it day by day is the only option I have.  I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that we should all live life to the fullest while not wasting time along the way.
Saying that – I’m not sure what these next few months hold for me – whether I’ll find a part time job.  Everything is just up in the air which is something that bothers me (I”m a planner by nature.) I’m just all up in the air if this is the direction  Does He want me to wait things out till I can find the perfect job? Does God want me to go back to school and pursue Does He want me to get a part-time job and wait the economy out? Or What?! I guess I’m at the point that I need direction.
Direction from the One and Only from Above.  Direction from the One that I am oh so thankful for being in my life.  Direction from the One that has alway been by my side every step of the way. Direction from the One that has guided me through other tough situations.Direction…on what’s next?!

YUMMY

Luckily, I was able to round up most of the divas to collaborate with me on this post so you get to hear first hand what perfume the Divas are wearing for their men...and why! Stick around and you just might find a new scent today!  Here we go!!

Below is my "secret weapon"!  We all know that we aren't smelling AMAZING every single night when we crawl into bed, right!?!  Sure, you showered that morning, but since then have been running yourself ragged!  I make sure to put on some of this lotion (PINK by Victoria's Secret -  $12) on my arms, legs, and a tiny bit on my neck before snuggling up to my man.  Ladies, it's a winner!  I'm telling ya!  - Love, Tara

I love Pure Seduction ($9.50 a steal at Victoria's Secret) because it's a softer sweeter smell...almost like my husband wants to eat me, which happens to work out wonderfully, because I can't stand perfumes that are too strong or chemical smelling, or the ones that border on masculine.  Soft and delicious all the way!  - Love, Kiirsten

Another glimpse at that AWESOME perfume!!

I love the perfume, Ralph, by Ralph Lauren (runs $35-50).  It has a simple, yet sweet fragrance that lasts through the day.  - Love, Corie

For an everyday smell, I really like how fresh and clean Victoria's Secret's PINK "Fresh and Clean" ($12) smells.  - Love, Kristen

For date nights or whenever I am around the hubby, I ALWAYS let him pick out my perfume, since he is the one that has to like it and smell it on me. :) Plus he has great taste, so I am never disappointed.  His choice this year is Armani Code ($35-78).  - Love, Kristen

I am allergic to perfume, and used to get horrible headaches!  So now I wear body sprays and lotions. My normal day to day is MK Red Tea & Fig. The Beauty of nature. The wisdom of ancient tradition.  The power of products that can transform an everyday experience into an extraordinary one. I got it off of Mary Kay's website, but I could not have described it better myself.  The Deo body spritzer freshens and deodorizes your skin.  Red Tea & Fig cleanses with macadamia nut, raspberry seeds and kiwi seeds, lightly sweetened with fig notes.  Lastly, I love the light lotion, it is nutrient-rich mix of botanicals, emollient sunflower oil, rich in nutrients, and vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant.  Needless to say I have said goodbye to my headaches and my man loves the new smell.  - Love, Charlene

I am a perfume junkie, but these are my favorites by far.  I love the Victoria's Secret line (or I am obsessed with it).  These two are just body sprays, Pink Sheer Fragrance Mist ($20) and Dream Angels, Desire Angel Mist $22), they are lighter in smell.  I will generally use these during the day because they are cheaper, but still smell scrumptious.  The only lotions that I use are from Victoria's Secret - my favorite is Love Spell.  - Love, Kari

On the higher end perfumes - these are my top favorites. Cool Water has been my fav for over a decade. What I love about it, is that it is a very clean scent and it will adapt to whatever lotion I am wearing.  It's not overbearing, but it's strong enough to have staying power.  The plus side is you can find this one cheaper at TJMaxx or even Walmart.  The Estee Lauder Pleasures Exotic is my new favorite find.  I have always loved the original pleasures scent, but the exotic is a stronger floral scent that I will wear in the evening time.  I wouldn't recommend adding this scent on top of a scented lotion - it's really a stand alone perfume.  The downside is you can't really find this anywhere for cheaper.  I paid around $78 for a 3.4 fl oz at Macy's.  -Love, Kari

I use many different perfumes and enjoy nice smells.  Brent and I always pick out new scents for each other around Christmas.  It is always fun to see what he picks out for me, as some have become my favorites, while other I only wear because he likes it.  This was the first scent he picked out for me after we got married (Marc Jacobs Daisy $32-75) and I love it.  Plus it comes with a glitter lotion that I use all the time.  My hubby knows me and I think of him everyday when I put it on.  It is one thing we enjoy doing for each other every year.  - Love, Lisa P.

Cool Water - My hubby's absolute fav!  - Love, Wendy

Refuge - Yummy and super cheap at Charlotte Russe $10!  - Love, Wendy

DKNY- Be Delicious - One of my faves!  - Love, Wendy

Versace- Another one of my hubby's favs!  - Love, Wendy

I love anything that smells like you could eat it!  So anything fruity or anything that smells like baked goods is right up my alley.  I love, love, love anything with coconut (that is my hubby's favorite)!  I also have to say try the Jessica Simpson Dessert line.  It's definitely mostly for the bedroom, but I love it!!!!!  I can't tell you enough how great it is!  What I am wearing right now is Bath and Body Works Coconut Lime Verbena, Burberry Brit perfume ( runs about $50-80), and Jessica Simpson Dessert Banana Split   -Love, Bridget

I love perfume! Unfortunately, I haven't played around a lot to really know many of them, but I do LOVE Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret.  My husband, Dom, is a big fan, especially of their more fruity smells, but I have to like it, too!  So this one we both like :)  - Love, Lisa M.
