My "So. Cal LOVER" and New Years!

I did two amazing things this morning:  I weighed myself and I cleaned my room spotless!  

 I'm moderately thinking about what I eat

I'm going to the gym EVERYDAY but Sundays..  I have thought about it a few times. I am going to make a goal to bring workout clothes with me to work, change before leaving.

Well, you know we just had a New Year celebration.  Me and my skinny friends went dancing at a house party it was a blast!

As girls we spend the day shopping and getting last minute details done like manicures and such before arriving.  Some have an hour process of getting ready.  We all manage to survive and look fabulous before leaving for the evening.  I walked back to the car around 2am on Saturday January 1.  That's a champion party night, my friends.  Good times, good times.  I'm glad nights like these are only a few times a year. 

As any young lady would do, I shopped for new years outfit.  This is in addition to all the underwears.  I don't have many options for fashion being a Bigger girl that i am.  I shop quite a bit from Lane Bryant.  That's like 90% of my closet.  I score some good tops occasionally from Kohl's, Ross, and TJ Mzx   I went to The Mall for a mad dash on Thursday. 

Apparently, LB is now carrying DKNY clothing.  It's overpriced, but I got some jeans on sale!  Suh-Weet.  And they look freakin hot on.  I should tell you, if you consider shopping for these, the Soho dark wash are the way to go.  At least on me.  They have some that are a lighter wash--which are true "jeans" to me--and they weren't flattering in the slightest.  I've got a funny shape  

I also got some really, really cute tops. Well, I tried a few long sleeve button downs which just did not work.  I was getting desperate.  I was going with the gun metal grey tank with the cute bows on the neck no matter what.  Well, I do the only thing left for me to do, I ask the clerk for a Shrug.   help me!  The fashion fairies were following me that day!  

Aside from looking Smokin' all Holiday weekend, I had another positive, i have not lost any weight, but i have gone down 2 sizes!!!  Anyway.  I get asked like 5 times...no lie... you look like you've lost weight! or How much weight have you lost, to which I have to reply, I haven't lost any, You laugh, but I'm not joking.  

Well, folks, I have a Long Distance Lover. I should warn you now,  I met him on a late Summer trip.  He approached me at a networking event. Anyway.  I was talking to another male person for a majority of the evening (strictly platonic, I assure you) which actually garnered some attention because he's fairly high profile Anyway, this is how I initially met "my So. Cal lover"

To begin with, it was a brief meeting.  Actually, we didn't even really talk.  He was taking pictures of everyone around and--being the nice girl that I am--I offered to take his picture with Mr. Platonic.  Before an introduction to be made, he was off.  I was a little dissapointed because I really thought he was quite cute.

About an hour later, suddenly, "so. cal lover" is beside me handing me his card.  He tells me "I don't know what it is about you...I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since I saw you.  Please call me.  It doesn't have to be tonight, but please call me before you leave."  And then, he was off.  Again.  This is by far the best pick up line I've ever heard.  Ever.  By far.  Needless to say, I did call him.  We talked more and eventually got to know each other much better before the end of the trip.

And then I started getting texts.  And fb messages.  And phone calls.  Not all at once, but enough to know that there was continued interest there.  Let me tell you, this part has been a lot of fun.  A lot.  

Anyway, there are plans in the works for seeing each other some day even if one of us or both are seeing some one.  I'm not 100% sold on the idea of travelling just to see him or the other way around, but wouldn't mind seeing if there was still electricity the next time we happen to both be occupying the same space.  AND my sister's fam lives there plus i love my little nephew to peices and Nicole is pregers again due in may! (its a girl)

So I know I'll be see him again I'm ok with waiting considering my commitment issues.

OLD SCHOOL journal my first "LOVE" haha fun stuff

August 10th, 2005 wow so pretty much I love life right now totally opp form last entry but ya to finish the whole Danny story we kinda stopped calling and texting 24/7 but he still text me once in a while just letting me know he was thinking about me he leaves for his mish the 24th i will write him to keep options open ya know? but ya there is a new guy right now his name is.... he is amazing on the 6th he came over all day cause i was grounded and couldn't go any where on the 7th (Sunday Nicole b day we talked for 2 hours well the week before we hung out like every day but the 8th was amazing we were laying on the tramp looking at the stars and he was like "guess what? your so beautiful" and he kissed me it was perfect  first kiss ever he is such a sweet guy Tuesday we talked all night tonight i worked late so we couldn't hang but we talked not too late cause he gets up at 5am to go to work so amber, Kayla, Ryan,l and Jake came over to my house it was so funny Ryan and amber were maken out in the corner and my mom came down! Friday 12th, August
well last night was amazing first we went and got bambinos my fav food in the world we drank ......'s fav drink "Jones green apple" and there was a pick of a teenage couple on the top of a mountain looking out over the Vally how ironic CAUSE  we drove up in the mountains it was the perfect time because the sun was just setting we stopped at the river and it was so beautiful with the sun set and him just holding me felt so good we went on a hike and we both felt like we should turn around we did and he was like do you mind if we run? and he looked pretty scared it was pretty dark and hard to run i sprained my ankle i asked why what was wrong and he said he wouldn't tell me until we get back in the car (ha is astro van So cool) i was shaking like no other an we had to cross a pond and i almost fell in! we got to the car and he said we were being traked by a mountin lione and he was gettin gloser he was suprised i never heard it wow what a night huh' but after that we went an layed on a big pillow thing out side and looke at the stars this guy is amazing so sweet nice cute respectful loves his family everything i need right now tonight i'm doing baptisoms for the dead then me and him are going to the mud lake rodio fun fun

tonight was so perfect i got to do baptisms for the dead and that was cool when i was walking out i saw the cutest couple taking pis in there wedding dress and suit i can't wait to get married in the temple but anyways my mom dad grandma and grandpa Egbert and shivly, and my man went to the roadio it was a blast i remember seeing a guy i use to crush on when our family's hung out when i was a little girl he has grown up a lot but he is no way as cute as ....... my man, the boy looks so little compared to my boyfriend it was funny to see that guys reaction when he saw .......'s arms around me the whole time :)

today me and my family and amber went to the play mill it was pretty boring the play was the secret garden ........ and Ryan "playa" were at the foam party :( i hope he didn't dance with any girls!!  my girl friend went and said he didn't from what she saw haha i have spys every where!

Sunday 14th August
today we went to church there are so many new people! AMBER IS STAYING THE Whole WEEK WITH US FUN! we watched t.v. most of the night then talked to ....... my man and Ryan a lot of the night my man came to see me at work and for fhe he came with us to a movie it was "stealth"  it was a good move amber spent the night at Kayla so they stayed out all night she had a hard core make out with Ryan Johnson hahahaha he is cute but not my style. mutual we went to the martin Harris pageant it was way good but oh so cold! MY MAN called and almost broke up with me cause his bishop said he should but he didn't :)

Thursday 18th August
today amber, Kayla, and me went and registered for school we were going to be in the 11th grade one more year baby but ya then we went to subway then to the river then to night Kayla and i went to rigby to go on a horse baCK ride but we ended up going shooting after all we love shooting its so much then we went to the dunes in manan and climbed them with my mans mom's explorer! IT WAS INTENSE THEN WE WENT AND WATCHED A SCARY MOVIE at oleys. oh ya we had bambinos they just keep getting better! so my man just called and said he misses me already and he left 5 min ago from dropping me off :)

for the Egbert family x mas party we got "the family night jar" but i'm gong to use it as my journal!!

tonight is xmas eve we went to bridgets church and played lots of games tressa brought a cd so we went in to christys fam car and played it I sat in bck and when i got up i had sat on a pumpkin roll lofe and it was lopsided i told pam and she said it was ok but my dad said jerey was mad! I FELT SO BAD. it was not as fun as last year :(

xmas was great in my stocking i got candy, a snowboard chain, a bord leash, from j.D. i got a mary-kate and ashley DVD when in rome from nicole i got a necklis and a bracilet pair, from g and g e i got skipbo and from g and g s i got $35 buks gift card bridgette is sleeping over sometimes she is super mean cause she is pretty and skinny and i am not.

today my family went skiing and i stayed home with bridgette was stayed in bed tell 11:30 then we played on the computer we went to the movies and met james reppel and his friend and watched santa claws 2 it was fun!! THEY ARE SO CUTE

WOW i haven't written in so long i guess i will now since i can't play games on my cell now. i pretty much hate life right now there is nothing to look forward to any more like right now Danny Lee would tedt me even though he know s i can't text back he would tell me good night and have a good day tomorrow and that would make me not sad and make me want keep going! RIGHT NOW I DON'T WAN TO  i wish i could be with Danny right now he is the best guy ever! He is perfect  this might sound weird but i met him on the internet on a web sight i never talked to him but he caught my eye he emailed me and we have been talking ever since he lives in Provo Utah he is LDS and going on a mission this summer his dad is a bishop i think and a professor at BYU he is the youngest in his fam and his mom was 16 when she met his dad and hes mission he was taken some classes at the Y he is going to be a construction manager (lots of $) i told Nicole about him and she said he seems like a great guy i said i should invite him up for a weekend that would be wya fun but my mom would never go for it i saw him when we went to slc for choir it was amazing some how i got away from the group and spent the whole free day with him! he spoiled me.
i wih i didn't have to pretend to be happy all the time i hold everything in.

hi, today I  wen tto school and all day "someone" was nagging me about your hair is so weird your shirt is too tight your spelling is so bad do you now how popular ia would bi if you wernt my friend and so my whole day was soooo bad. "someone" started to spred roumors that i'm so fat i can't fit in my chair and then i go to lunch and don't have any lunch money so i was starving. and "someone" said it was a good thing.

Hey, I  haven't written since last year so I'm going to catch up! I'M in 8th grade my fav teacher is Mr. Guachay (sp) I'm doing NJHS, on the dance team, pep band, math counts, doing dance for studio 1, church volley ball and normal band

I'm trying to find out if  "someone and someone" are friends i can really depend on . like "someone" need sot work on not letting npeople get to her head every day i make complements to her cause that is my gal is to rise her selfasteam but i think her goal is to lwer mine ever day she has something rude to say or lie cause she new she had my crimper she called "someone" and askede how she should tell me she always has to be right "someone" has a major lieing prob

its sad cause i have liked "someone" since the middle of 7th grade and now "someone" likes him so i cn't like him i like alot of guys but i can't say anything cause "someone" will say you like to many guys or if i ask someone about a guy they know someone wil say don't tell her she will still him

i was reading my stranth of the youth thing and it says what my friends now is an ipact on me and that skareds me cause i am not myself around them im so confused i dont know why.

my sister called and said she held hands with Jared. is a guy at college he came home with  his sister Cory cause there parents live in NC we went and saw harry potter  amber and alona came all that week we went 4 wheeling sweet home Alabama charily and my grandma shively had there 50th anniversary anyway Jared is very nice and treats Nicole very well like "yes mam""

 they get along very well. its funny we were playing chess and he poped his knuckles and my om hates that and i warned him last night Nicole and a lot of other people went to a chair store after hours and sat on bean bags and watched movies, the guy off of singles ward was their the one with the tattoos and piercings she thought he was way cool for x mas I'm doing the 12 days of x mas for Madison janica and Kristi one the first day of Xmas... your good friend gave to you.. and air head!

HI, I'm at girl's camp and its 12:21 I'm having a blast, I'm sure glad Randi is not sleeping in our tent, because she and Shannon smith dont get along.

My secret sister is? but i will find out on sat. I've been going on the slide which is about 30ft. long and before we came to our tent at 11:30 pm i was in my silky Pj's  (which made me go super fast on the slid and eat dirt at the bottom) and now i'm scared for life of slides (maybe) to become a real "beehive" you have to get "the mark" i can't tell you the details but i can't tell anyone :)

Hi, it is raining HARD, and hailing too, SO i'm in my tent, Kristi Tyler, Shannon smith, and Tasha are cooking.

I heard Kalil talking about her sister moving tomorrow and doesn't get to say goodbye its hard enough to let my sister go and say goodbye

It has gone by so fast i'm old enough to realize that everything she does for me is good and now i wish i was nicer to her.

HI today i went to school with Madison Mazur's mom because the bus was late. at lunch Tyler Carlisle(sp) sat with us and when we were done i put on my lip-gloss and Madison dared Tyler to put some on and he did and said it was nasty tasting and then he put i on my ID card on my lips. tomorrow i'm going to the corn maze with Kristi, Madison, Janica, and  Derek Resse, Sean Dick black, josh Coffen

Today i was sick and a way bad DAY,
J..d and dad were at th office mowing the lawns and the phone rang. J.D. ran inside and it was mom she wanted to talk to dad. he came and side and was talking about me. but he was talking the cat. mom had ran her over with the van!! she didn't kill her but it would cost $300 bucks to fix her so my dad went up in the hills and shot her and that was the end of princes so long my fury friend :(

HI, my x-mas was great! i got a fake fish, bubble stand, a radio, Marie-Kate and Ashly movie (holiday in the sun) P.J's jeans jeanga truth or dare, typhoon's roller coaster, electric tooth brush and last but not least a new lamp! i was very spoiled.

OK i have to tell you a story! OK hear it goes. my sister Nicole went sledding with her friends, when they got back they started to (play around) and Nicole came home with a cracked eye brow! she head heads with her friend Steven Boyle.

Tomorrow i'm getting a hear cut i dont know what i'm going to look like :S

I WILL be a millionaire by age 30 baby!!!!!

1. Earn Income.

Clearly, the more money you make, the faster you can reach that milestone, but that doesn’t mean your average Joe with a average income can’t get millionaire status. The average income in this country ranges between $35,000-$60,000, depending on where you live. Getting married so you have dual incomes helps also. The wonderful thing about having dual incomes is that even with two people in the household, your income may double, but your expenses typically don’t. ha so maybe thats where im going wrong! ;)

If you don’t earn even an average income, all is not lost. A negative attitude about your job or your earning potential won’t change anything. Be proactive and make the decision to improve your situation. It is your life, so take control and realize that things don’t change overnight. It may take a few years of slow growth before you reach the point where you want to be, but you can do it if you try. 

2. Live Within Your Means.

Ok, so you have income but now what? It doesn’t matter how much money you make if you spend it all or spend even more than you make. It might be nice to eat out at nice restaurants every night, or to always be on the cutting edge of designer fashion but, this will only make you feel like a millionaire. This doesn’t mean you have to live a miserable and miserly lifestyle, but you simply need to live reasonably. i haven't spent more then $60 dollars on a pair of jeans (which might seem like alot to the men and some woman, but to most its average if not cheap for a nice pair of jeans that actually fit perfectly match your crazy random one and only body type and look good!

If your purchasing a home that you can comfortably afford and drive vehicles that suit your lifestyle without straining your budget. You don’t have to be pulling down $75,000 a year and drive a 1992 Civic Hatchback or live in a dump, but throwing your money at a 4,000 square foot home in a gated community with luxury cars or SUVs that cost as much as one year of your salary won’t help you become a millionaire. Some may argue that an expensive home and real estate in general is a good way to become a millionaire, but I will touch on that later.

3. Save Money.

This isn’t rocket science but if you earn a reasonable income and you live within your means, guess what, you will probably have money left over to save. The problem most people have is they put savings last, as an afterthought. People pay bills, buy things and then whatever is leftover they try to save. That is the wrong way to save. I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but pay yourself first. Whether it is $100 a month or $1,000 a month, think of the savings as a bill that needs to be paid and do it regularly. If you are unable to save money you will find that your only wealth is in the form of material things. 

4. Invest Wisely.

Now that you are saving money, you need to invest it wisely. Sticking it under the mattress isn’t going to help you reach your goals any faster. You don’t have to read the Wall Street Journal or watch CNBC everyday while actively managing your portfolio in order to be a good investor. Some of the best investment advice is to simply buy and hold and to buy low and sell high.

It is also important to remember that real estate is part of your investment picture, but it shouldn’t be all of it. Too many people stake almost everything they have into a primary residence and expect it to appreciate in value. Just like any investment, generally speaking, over time you will make money. There isn’t much debate about that, but relying heavily on real estate is no different than if you rely on one stock to fund your retirement. 

You can become a millionaire by simply buying a single stock and holding onto it for 20 years if it goes up significantly just like you can buy a home $500,000 home and have it double in value in 20 years. Take a lot of the risk out of the picture by making sure all of your eggs aren’t in the same basket and develop an investment strategy that will provide steady growth.

5. Stick With Your Plan.

If you have done the previous four items the only thing left to do is to continue doing it and stick to the plan. As far as income is concerned, always be on the lookout for ways to increase your income, whether it is through climbing the ladder at your current job, finding work elsewhere, or maybe even starting a business on the side. Increased income will mean you can save even more, provided you aren’t foolishly spending the additional money. As that additional money gets tucked away into savings or investments it will continue to grow even more quickly.

It Isn’t Hard to Do if You Work at It

Unfortunately, most people are looking for a way to get rich quick or to capitalize on the next big thing. It is true that some people have made their wealth through playing the real estate market, while others have done so by investing in a few stocks that exploded, but this is the exception and not the norm. If the above list seems overly simplistic, that’s good. There are no secrets to becoming a millionaire and almost anyone has the chance to make it happen.
